Our Story

Welcome to the Anglican Parish of North Essa! We are a two-point parish consisting of St. George’s in utopia and Christ Church – St. Jude's in Ivy. Each of our churches offers a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community of faith. Nestled among beautiful rolling hills and tranquil fields, our charming country churches serve as beacon of faith, filled with uplifting hymns and the warmth of generations past. Rooted in the commandment to love one another, we are dedicated to serving God and our neighbors in our communities and beyond. Each year, we engage in various fundraising to support local initiatives and outreach programs, bringing us together in purpose and spirit. Join us for worship Sundays at 9 AM at St. George's in Utopia and 11 AM at Christ Church – St. Jude’s in Ivy. We warmly invite you to bring the whole family and experience the warmth of both country churches—a place where children laugh, friendships blossom, and faith is shared across generations.
