Our 2026 Coldest Night of the Year Event was a remarkable success, showcasing the dedication and hard work of our team. Team Ivy was spearheaded by the passionate and committed Lynn Price, whose leadership truly inspired all participants. We came together on February 28th, 2026, braving the chilly temperatures to raise awareness and funds for an incredibly important cause. This year, our collective efforts were directed towards supporting Alliston S.H.I.F.T., a vital organization that has been making a significant impact since its founding in 2017. Alliston S.H.I.F.T. stands out as the only service of its kind in the South Simcoe region, uniquely dedicated to providing lifesaving supports to youth, adults, and families who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness and food insecurity. The organization plays a crucial role in addressing the urgent needs of the community, offering a range of services that include emergency shelter, food assistance, and various support programs aimed at helping individuals regain stability in their lives. Through our participation in this event, we not only raised funds but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity among participants, highlighting the importance of coming together to support those in need. The Coldest Night of the Year Event serves as a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by many in our society and the difference we can make when we unite for a common purpose.
We raised a total of $3300.00 for our cause
