Celebrating Easter 2026: Our Easter Journey

Easter is a time of renewal, hope, and community. As we approach Easter 2026, churches everywhere are preparing meaningful events that bring people together to celebrate this important season.

Whether you are a longtime member of our church or new to the community, the upcoming Easter services at the church offer opportunities to connect, reflect, and rejoice. This post highlights some of special services helping you find ways to participate and make the most of this special time.

Palm Sunday Service and Procession

The Easter journey begins with Palm Sunday, marking Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. This year, the church will hold a special Palm Sunday service on March 29th at regular church times, 9:00 AM at St. George's and 11:00 AM at Christ Church - St. Jude's.

Maundy Thursday Communion Service

On April 2nd at 7:00 PM, the church will hold a Maundy Thursday service commemorating the Last Supper. This service will be a joint service held at St. George's

Good Friday Service

Good Friday, April 3rd, will feature a joint service at 10:00 AM at Christ Church-St. Jude's.

There is also so Good Friday Pancake Breakfast, Presented by Thornton Lions Club

at Ivy Orange Hall, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Adults $10 - Children $5

Easter Sunday Celebration Service

Easter Sunday, April 5th, will feature a joyful celebration service at regular church times, 9:00am at St. George's and 11:00am at Christ Church- St. Jude's

The church welcomes everyone to join in the celebrations
